Bindu

This time Duars.....but not so called popular places like Gorumara or Jaldapara,we eight people headed for "Bindu"....A remote village at Indo-Bhutan border. The day we reached NJP,there was a strike by TMC. So we took two rooms at a hotel beside the stations. We started for BIndu at 7pm in the evening. Going through the dense forest of Chapramari in pitch dark night was a real adventure. But we're somewhat unlucky that we didn't get a chance to see some elephants. We reached Bindu at 9:45pm and got into "Shivaji Tourist Inn" where we had four rooms already booked for us. Next day after breakfast we visited Samsing and Suntaleykhola. Sometimes drizzle and sometimes heavy rain were always companion for us. Evening went in relax. Next day we went to see the Dam over the Jaldhaka and kept our feet in the Land of Bhutan. Took our lunch at 1pm and moved to NJP again to catch the train at night. It was very short tour but some kind of relaxation of body and miind.
