Sandakphu Trek
This time we a group of 14 member and a child went on a trek to Sandakphu which is West Bengal's highest point at 12000Ft. We started the trek from Chitrey. First day we went upto Tonglu via Lameydhura and Meghma treking a distance of 9 Km in total. On second day first we reached Jaubari via Tumling, then a descend to Gairibas and then steep ascend to Kalpokhri via Kayakata- Total distance covered 13 Km. The next day we reached Sandakphu via Bikebhanjan covering a steep road of 8 Km.The day later we reached Molley via Sabargaon trekking a distance of 16 Km. Next day we leave Molley and reached Sirikhola at a ditance of 15 Km. The day later was our last day at hill. We went Sepi from Sirikhola, took cars to reach Rimbick and from Ghoom another two cars took us to catch the train at NJP Station.
